El pasado jueves tuve la oportunidad de asistir a una presentación de Joan Mele y de charlar un rato con él. Desde luego, es difícil encontrar gente con las ideas tan claras y con un compromiso tan profundo con el ser humano. Según nos contó, pasó muchos años de su vida trabajando en banca, hasta que a muy poco tiempo de la jubilación se embarcó en un proyecto de banca ética. Atención al detalle, renunció a una prejubilación porque entendía que no es razonable pagar a alguien por no trabajar. Cuantas personas hay en España prejubiladas?.  El plantea que en la sociedad actual estamos dominados por el MIEDO, un medio afilado que nos bloquea y no nos deja salir las pautas oficiales. Tenemos miedo de plantarnos cosas nuevas, de ser vistos como raros. Y esto es muy grave, porque hay mucha gente que vive y va a seguir viviendo una vida que aborrece. También plantea que estamos dominados por la MENTIRA. Y es verdad. Ahora vemos en televisión gente mintiendo constantemente, políticos, tertulianos, etc... Incluso, está bien visto cuando un futbolistas se tira al suelo simulando y provoca un penalty.... Por último nos habla del ODIO, y me parece muy claro la tendencia que , de entrada, a rechazar al desconocido. Especialmente al diferente. Este problema de inmigración por ejemplo es vergonzoso. Recuerdo que comenté con una persona que, decía que los inmigrantes venían a "chupar del bote", que viese el vídeo de arcadi oliveres (http://compartablog.blogspot.com/2011/02/entender-la-migracion-understanding.html) donde demuestra con datos macro oficiales, que la inmigración tiene un saldo neto positivo en España, es decir aportan más de lo que gastan. Este persona no quiso ver el vídeo, no quiso tener si quiera otra visión de la inmigración.

Es el MIEDO, que nos paraliza, la MENTIRA  que nos gobierna, y el ODIO que nos separa los que están dominando nuestra sociedad. Joan Mele, también comentó que el cambio sí es posible, que lo tenemos que hacer cada uno. Y yo me apunto, intentaré no mentir incluso en las cosas más simples, voy a intentar ser valiente y llevar adelante ideas nuevas, y voy a intentar dar una oportunidad a los que son y piensan diferentes. Yo estoy decidido.

It is the FEAR that paralyzes us, the LIE that governs us, and HATE that separates us from those who are dominating our society. Joan Mele also said that change is possible, that we have to do it by ourselves. And I join to this idea, try not to lie even in the simplest things, I will try to be brave and carry out new ideas, and I will try to give a chance to those who are and think different. I am determined.
