Ken Robinson hace una presentación genial en TED. Nos habla sobre la creatividad en el colegio. En la línea del post anterior, veo la dificultad grande que existe en que los programas educativos contemplen aspectos vitales como la creatividad. Si pienso en la crueldad de los planteamientos que sufrimos en el colegio , en los que la excelencia pasaba necesariamente por las encorsetadas asignaturas oficiales.
Cuantas personas tenemos a nuestro alrededor (si no nosotros mismos) cuya autoestima ha sido duramente dañada en el colegio por no ser brillante en matemáticas ,ciencias o literatura....
Hay que provocar un cambio en la educación. En primer lugar en casa. En casa sí que se puede estar atentos a las habilidades de nuestros hijos e intentar quitar importancia a los planteamientos oficiales y premiarles sobre sus habilidades personales.
En el colegio es más difícil. Por lo menos vamos a llevar estos temas a las conversaciones con otros padres y quizas en las asociaciones de padres.

Ken Robinson makes a great presentation at TED. He talks about creativity in school. In line with the previous post, I see that there is great difficulty in education programs in relation wiht vital aspects such as creativity. If I think of the cruelty of the approaches that we suffer at school where excellence was necessarily related with official corseted subjects.

How many people around us (if not ourselves) whose self-esteem has been severely damaged at school for not being brilliant in math, science and literature ....

We must bring about a change in education. First at home. At home you can be aware of the abilities of our children and try to play down official approaches and reward them for their personal abilities.

At school is harder. At least we will take these issues to the discussions with other parents and perhaps in parent associations.

Hace tiempo que no subo nada . En concreto porque no he recibido nada que merezca la pena. Cada vez me llega más información , cada vez más. Pero no tengo capacidad para analizarla. Y creo que es información de calidad pero, sinceramente, no llego.
Hago la excepción en este tema que me preocupa profundamente. He estado en una reunión de comienzo de curso de mi hija mayor (11) en la que nos explicaban los parámetros sobre los que pivotaban las enseñanzas del nuevo curso. Desilusionado he asistido a una versión algo actualizada a los mismos principios que sufrí en el colegio cuando yo tenía 11. La evolución es ridícula. Cómo vamos a cambiar nada si no conseguimos evolucionar en los colegios. Queda todo el trabajo para hacer en casa.
Abandono escenarios idílicos, y me acojo al trabajo en casa.
Desde Vicky Sherpa (podéis ver un post en el blog) hasta la educación prohibida.
Os animo , y me animo , a ser valiente y trabajar esto con mis hijos.

I make an exception in this subject that concerns me deeply. Disillusioned I attended a slightly updated to the same principles as I suffer at school when I was 11. The evolution is ridiculous. How are we going to change things if we do not evolve in schools. It is all the work to do at home.

Hace unos meses he tenido la suerte de conocer a Eduardo Elorriaga, CEO de hermeneus. Está lanzando lo que yo creo va a ser el sistema de intercambios comerciales que vamos a tener en el futuro. Cuando digo futuro me refiero a un futuro muy inmediato.

A few months ago I had the fortune to meet Edward Elorriaga Hermeneus CEO. Is launching what I believe will be the trading system we´ll have in the future. When I say future I mean very near future.

No sé si será este el futuro que nos espera, pero el planteamiento del prosumer  (productor y consumidor de contenidos) parece que ya está cobrando sentido. Asusta un poco la verdad, pero supongo que veréis a vuestro alrededor cientos de personas  mirando compulsivamente sus smart phones repasando las últimas noticias. pareciera que tuviesen capacidad de decisión sobre los acontecimientos planetarios...

Además de la fatiga del información, y el terrible impacto social que ya hemos visto en compartablog, creo que tenemos que aprender a gestionar nuestro tiempo dedicado a la información.
Si observáis, la frecuencia de post en este blog ha bajado. Precisamente porque estoy gestionando mejor mi tiempo , es decir cada vez dedico más tiempo a mi familia ,guitarra y a nuestro perro Leo, y menos a estar enganchado al ciberespacio. Bueno , por lo menos estoy alerta.

Scary truth, but I guess around you will see hundreds of people watching their smart phones compulsively going over the latest news. it seems that they had capacity to decide on planetary happenings ...

In addition to fatigue information, and the terrible social impact that we saw in compartablog, I think we must learn to manage our time devoted to information.
If you look, the frequency of post in this blog is down. Just because I'm managing my time better, ie more and spend more time with my family and our dog Leo,and my guitar, and less to be hooked on cyberspace. Well, at least I'm alert.

Jeremy Rifkin, sintetiza en este libro muchas de las creencias de cientos de científicos. Se está produciendo la tercera revolución industrial .Rifkin concreta el cambio basándose en la evolución de las comunicaciones y de la energía. Esta combinación está haciendo que se transforme el mundo a una velocidad increíble. Nos habla de la autogeneración. Algo que ya es posible y que sin duda está a la espera de una regulación adecuada. Claro que esto no es tan fácil, ya que supondrá un cambio total en el modo en el que generamos nuestra energía y sería un ataque demasiado fuerte para las grandes corporaciones multinacionales que gobiernan los lobbies energéticos.
Magnífico libro que os recomiendo y que presenta una reflexión muy completa del momento que estamos viviendo.

Jeremy Rifkin, in this book summarizes many of the beliefs of hundreds of scientists. It is producing the third industrial revolution .Rifkin concretes change based on the evolution of communications and energy. This combination  will transform the world with incredible speed. We spoke of the autogeneration. Something that is already possible and that no doubt, is waiting for a proper regulation. It clear that this is not so easy, as it will mean a total change in the way in which we generate our energy and would be an attack too strong for the large multinational corporations that govern the energy lobbies. Wonderful book that I recommend and which presents a very complete reflection of the times we are living through.

En una época donde los esquemas tradicionales de financiación están cambiando a una velocidad de vértigo, webs como las que os propongo están desarrollando la financiación en masa o crowdfunding. Se trata de diferentes campos en los que se propone una relación en la que muchos financian conjuntamente a pocos. Esto hace que el riesgo que asumen los financiadores es pequeño y que , al igual que pasa en los microcréditos en el tercer mundo, el índice de morosidad es muy pequeño.
Supongo que hace unos años hubiese sido difícil plantear el crowdfundg por el miedo a no estar en contacto con webs fiables. Tanto el desarrollo de internet como la dificultad de financiación bancaria han disparado este tipo de relación financiera. El ejemplo más potente es ZOPA , donde prestamistas y prestatarios intercambias a tasas de interés razonables.

Mi profe de guitarra me enseña esta preciosidad de libro.Se trata de un cómic sobre la canción forever young de Bob Dylan. En el primer link aparece una pequeña muestra del mismo. El segundo es la canción en concierto con Bruce. La historia trata sobre cómo el propio Dylan recibió una guitarra de Johny Cash , recibiendo por tanto el testigo de la música , y como él va creciendo como persona y creciendo en la música y al final cede también el testigo.
Precioso libro para compartir con los peques ; un cuento , una canción y una filosofía de vida.

My guitar teacher shows me this wonderful book.It is just a  comic about the song forever young by Bob Dylan. The first link is a small sample of it. The second one is a live version with the Boss.The story is about how Dylan himself received a guitar from Johnny Cash, thus receiving the baton of music,and as he grows as a person and grow in music and in the end also gives witness.
Wonderful book to share with the kids, a story, song and a philosophy of life.

De vuelta al concepto del menor consumo (less is more). De vuelta al concepto de arreglar las cosas que ya comentamos (repair manifesto). Mi amigo Marta me manda este site que gestiona como mercado de segunda mano. La verdad es que está muy bien organizado y tiene muchísimas entradas. Es de esos portales que hay que guardar en favoritos. El concepto de segunda mano es algo que paises de centroeuropa funciona desde hace siglos. Yo he comprado bastantes cosas de segunda mano y no he tenido sorpresas desagradables. Cuántas cosas tenemos en trasteros que ni usamos ni vamos a usar nunca. Movedlas!!! con un par de clicks en tablón de anuncios podéis venderlas y comprar otras cosas que sí necesitáis. Como siempre hay que tener lo que se necesita.

Sorprendente iniciativa social dirigida a la concesión de microcréditos directos. Te dan la posibilidad de indentificar los titulares de los préstamos y concretar tu aportación a un proyecto muy concreto. He estado investigando en gente del sector y me comentan que Kiva un magnífico prestigio muy bien ganado al cabo del tiempo. La repercusión que está teniendo en Estados Unidos seguramente se exportará al resto del primer mundo. Funciona muy bien, y gestiona los préstamos a través de entidades de microfinanzas locales muy conocidas. Es muy buena alternativa desde mi punto de vista.
Animaros a echar un vistazo. Ya sabéis los pequeños gestos son poderosos.
