La Ciudad de las ideas es un foro anual que se convoca en Méjico. Similar a las presentaciones de TED (http://www.ted.com/). El conjunto de conferenciantes va desde un nobel de matemáticas hasta una niña prodigio concertista. Al igual que TED, este tipo de foros nos da la oportunidad de conocer planteamientos muy interesantes de profesionales del más alto nivel y poder de esta manera avanzar en los temas que estemos investigando. Posteriormente la Red nos da el acceso a mucha más información. Como vimos en el post del Sindrome de la fatiga de la información, queda en nosotros el poder gestionar la cantidad de información que procesamos, y tener consciencia de que más información no implica mayor conocimiento.
Por cierto, este año uno de los conferenciantes es Carl Honoré (ver post) gran impulsor del movimiento Slow.

The City of Ideas is an annual forum located in Mexico. Similar to the TED presentations (http://www.ted.com/). The set of speakers ranging from a Nobel in mathematics to a child prodigy concert . Like TED, this type of forum gives us the opportunity to meet some very interesting approaches highest professional level and thus to advance the issues we are investigating. Later the network gives us access to much more information. As we saw in the post information fatigue syndrome is in us to manage the amount of information we process, and be aware that more information does not mean more knowledge.
