La era de la información conlleva una serie de beneficios y de perjuicios que debemos tener en cuenta. El otro día leí en una revista que estuviésemos prevenidos de convertirnos en el típico ejecutivo con la blackberry paseando desorientado por la ciudad mientras contestaba sus millones de mails acumulados.  Ese era yo!!!!, yo voy por la calle concentrado en el último mail que me llega y que contesto inmediatamente. La gran mayoría de mails son prescindibles y desde luego no urgentes. Sin embargo ahí estoy yo , con  mi imágen de panoli que está conectado , como se dice ahora....
Me he puesto a indagar sobre el tema y realmente me ha resultado sencillo encontrar miles de páginas con información sobre los problemas que conlleva la era de la información. Os paso un web que creo es descriptivo , si os interesa , a indagar y si os parece importante, a compartirlo.

El proyecto 333 es una iniciativa centrada en la reducción del consumo. Simplemente consiste en revisar la cantidad de ropa que tenemos en los armarios. Ver lo que realmente usamos y lo que no. Evaluar lo que necesitamos y tener claro para las próximas rebajas....
La ropa que lleve demasiado tiempo sin ser usada, hay que regalarla. Pensad la cantidad de cosas acumuladas. Hoy mismo mi primo Uri me ha llamado y me ha regalado un montón de cosas para mis hijas. Su hija es más mayor y ya no las van a usar. Da gusto porque tanto ropa como juguetes van a seguir siendo usados. Nosotros haremos lo mismo con los sobrinos más pequeños. Así estaremos usando muchísimo más las cosas y dandoles el valor adecuado. Además , qué casualidad, estamos compartiendo...

Her daughter is older and no longer are going to use them. It's nice because both, clothes and toys, will continue to be used. We will do the same with smaller nephews. So we will be using a lot more things and give them the appropriate value. Also, what a coincidence, we're sharing ...

Buena descripción del tipo de consumo al que aspiramos tras el fracaso del neocapitalismo. La diferencia entre poseer y tener acceso. Porqué no pensamos un poco en las cosas que tenemos y vemos si las compartimos o no. Realmente, sin miedo. No tendré por ejemplo una casa de veraneo que apenas uso y se pasa vacía meses y meses. Mi amigo Alex ,que sabe mucho de empresa, se ha encontrado con esto y me lo envía. Parece que ,así como mucha gente está ya llevando a cabo los preceptos del movimiento slow, también las marcas comerciales están viendo un nicho de negocio creciente. Es algo así como lo opuesto a un redbull. Así que , si desarrollamos cada uno en nuestras posibilidades las buenas enseñanzas de ir más despacio y hacer mejor las cosas, podremos ser algo más felices. Si esto lo hacemos y lo compartimos con cuanta más gente mejor se estará creando una tendencia, a la cual los capitales empresariales responderán inmediatamente. Y es aquí donde residen nuestra capacidad de cambio, actuando y compartiendo. Me recuerda a lo comentado en el post de MOVIMIENTO EN MARCHA sobre las teorías de Paul Hawken.

Una iniciativa bastante espectacular. Desde luego a mi me lo parece. Un grupo de emprendedores han sido conscientes de que en el primer mundo hay muchos optometristas por cada mil habitantes, sin embargo en el mundo en desarrollo es evidente que no. Por tanto hay millones de personas que simplemente no ven. Para darle solución han desarrollado unas gafas universales que se pueden ajustar in situ para ajustarlas a cada usuario. Esto es increíble, porque con este simple mecanismo se puede dar cobertura a millones de personas que, de otra manera , sería imposible. A group of entrepreneurs have been aware that in the first world there are many optometrists per thousand inhabitants, but in the developing world there are clearly not. So there are millions of people who simply do not see. In order to solve this problem thet have developed universal glasses that can be adjusted in situ to suit each user. This is unbelievable, because with this simple mechanism can provide coverage to millions of people who would otherwise be impossible. Cada vez me sorprendo más al ver a gente hacer cosas que sobrepasan lo "razonable". Es en ese quebranto de lo habitual donde me da la sensación que reside la explosión de la potencialidad que todos tenemos. Este video me sirve de metáfora para este tema. Cuantos corsés tenemos que nos frenan. Cuántos condicionamientos sociales, familiares, laborales.... Bueno, yo creo que, a estas altura del siglo, con toda la información que tenemos ya no nos podemos quedar en el cliché convencional . Cada uno , en su medida, en su entorno y con sus posibilidades tenemos que atrevernos a hacer esas cosas que nos hacen ilusión y que no se tienen porqué atener a las normas establecidas. Ahora se puede. Sólo el hecho de leer este pequeño blog ya te está diciendo que tienes curiosidad por temas alternativos , que estás abierto a lo que se está cociendo por ahí. Os enseño este proyecto que me ha parecido muy bueno. Se trata de un sistema de aunar esfuerzos en la red para la protección de la biodiversidad. Es un proyecto independiente en el que todo el mundo puede participar aportando información a través de fotos ,videos, artículos etc.. Además a mí me parece muy bien diseñado y es una gozada ver las distintas fotos y videos colgados. Otra iniciativa sostenible y basada en compartir.

Is an independent project in which everyone can participate by providing information through pictures, videos, articles etc. .. Descubro algo sobre lo que ya me habían llegado noticias. El intento, o mejor dicho, el éxito de la industria farmaceútica en acabar con cualquier hueco que pueda quedar para los remedios naturales. Entiendo que es un tema de cuenta de resultados ahora que tenemos un panorama dantesco desde el punto de vista económico. No sé si se podrá llevar adelante la propuesta pero me para muy peligrosa. Ya vimos el supernegocio del Antrax donde Bayer puso en marcha una factoría de la noche a la mañana (aunque le saliese mal el tema al crear un genérico el estado americano en consecución del bien común..) , o la historia de la gripe A. Creo que es una voracidad temible y un control sobre nuestra salud  más temible todavía. Esperemos que podamos recobrar la cordura. Por nuestra parte nos queda dejar de medicarnos todo lo que podamos. Me asusta la ligereza con que nos recetan fármacos al menor síntoma.

A veces leo en prensa dimensiones de una catástrofe en el mar. Un petrolero se parte y derrama no sé qué cantidad de toneladas de petróleo. Veo a discusiones sobre si el barco tenía que tener doble casco , o no etc... Dentro de la espiral de declaraciones tengo que reconocer que me pierdo totalmente. Todo suena catastrófico.
Esta gente de UDK que hacen vídeos por ordenador, ha hecho una recreación de qué son 25.000 barriles de petróleo.
Bueno, ahora me hago más una idea.

I see to discussions on if the ship had to have double hull, or not etc... Among  the spiral of declarations I have to admit that I get lost totally. Everything sounds catastrophic.

Cuando cumplí más o menos 25 años,  y no sé porqué razón, me dí cuenta que hacía muchos años que no andaba en bici. La verdad es que la sensación que tuve cuando volví a andar con una bici que me regaló mi amigo Juan fue una gozada. Me acordaba de la cantidad de tiempo que andaba en bici cuando era más pequeño. A partir de ese  momento he disfrutado de la bici en muchas ocasiones, sólo, con amigos, por pistas ,por monte, por carretera. He aprendido a viajar largo recorrido y sólo puedo compartir la intensidad y el disfrute con que vivo los paseos  en bici. Os enseño un recorrido de la red nacional de vías verdes que hice hace poco. Es precioso y sin ninguna dificultad por lo que os animo a entrar en la web de las vías verdes y animaros a hacer algún tramo que os guste. (http://www.viasverdes.com/ViasVerdes). MUJERES NOBEL / NOBEL WOMEN

Desde 2006 se han agrupado voluntades del grupo de mujeres que han recibido el premio nobel de la paz. Su objetivo es , conseguir que se aunen fuerzas para fortalecer los procesos de paz en todo el mundo. Obviamente el peso de estas mujeres es muy importante y está arrastrando a otras organizaciones. La idea es coordinar esfuerzos no solamente para conseguir la paz sino también la igualdad social. Es en el campo femenino donde más se está sufriendo las desigualdades y los abusos (ver posts "no más limosnas", "somos uno"). Y es desde el campo femenino desde donde se está obteniendo el mayor compromiso sobre la solidaridad social.
Merece la pena conocer más. Igual encontráis el hueco para actuar.

Estos son casos excepcionales del compromiso en la acción directa. Vale la pena seguir los movimientos de este periodista argentino para entender de una vez por todas que no vale no hacer nada. Hay que moverse , interesarse y buscar el hueco donde podemos aportar. Hernan Zin describe en sus libros y reportajes la durísima realidad que sufren millones de personas diariamente. En sus últimos proyectos está haciendo un reportaje sobre la violación a mujeres como arma de guerra. Tengo muchas ganas de poder verlo. Inmenso trabajo de calidad.

Os animo a que no sea así, entrad a enteraros de lo que está pasando y animaros a entrar en acción en la medida de vuestras posibilidades. Os invito a que investigéis en las diferentes emisoras y utilicéis el acceso a audios de los diferentes programas. Mientras estáis en el ordenador podéis estar escuchando programas increíbles que suelen tener unos horarios imposibles de escuchar. De verdad que hay trabajamos muy potentes en diferentes campos que os puedan interesar. Os paso el link de unos de mis programas favoritos. Suele estar centrado en proyectos solidarios y tercer mundo en general. Lo documentan muy bien y son temas de mucha actualidad y muy interesantes.

La idea de las baterias para andar en bici puede animar a mucha gente a disfrutar de paseos que de otra manera igual les iba a dar pereza. Lo bueno de estos modelos de bici con batería es que se recargan mientras se anda. Esto es muy interesante porque es otro paso más hacia la generación de energia sostenible. El tema de las baterias no es muy sostenible en sí, pero es mejor que ir en coche.

Edward de Bono (Malta 1933) , doctor por la Universidad de Cambridge, y profesor en universidades como Oxford, Malta, Pretoria, Central England. Lleva décadas desarrollando conceptos como el pensamiento lateral. La idea es utilizar un sistema de razonamiento que se escapa del estándar centrado en conceptos estrictamente lógicos y pretenden abordar los problemas desde un punto de vista más global y más creativo. No suelo ser  muy fan de los libros de estrategias empresariales en general. Me da la sensación que al calor de "quien ha robado mi queso" han proliferado miles de publicaciones con una intención más comercial que otra cosa. Este libro de Borja Vilaseca sin embargo, me ha gustado ya que plantea una nueva forma de enfocar la gestión de equipos y por tanto la relación interpersonal en el trabajo. Supongo que es lo mismo fuera de él.
De nuevo es otro ejemplo de valentía por iniciar un cambio, y por supuesto de compartir.

Not usually a big fan of the books about business strategies in general. I feel that the heat of "who stole my cheese" have proliferated thousands of publications with a more commercial idea than anything else. This Borja Vilaseca`s book however, I liked it because it raises a new way to approach  management human resources and interpersonal relations at work. I guess it's the same elsewhere.
Again it is another example of courage to initiate a change, and of course to share.

Cuando comemos nuestro chocolate favorito, estamos al final de una cadena de esclavitud que yo desconocía. Zonas como Costa de Marfil son áreas que suponen la mayor parte de la producción de cacao mundial , por sus condiciones ambientales y por su , cómo no , mano de obra barata. Barata no es una palabra que se ajuste a la realidad. La situación es límite, utilizando niños esclavos como mano de obra. En este video de la BBC podéis ver un reportaje bastante concreto de lo que está pasando. Qué podemos hacer, no comprar los chocolates comerciales en los supermercados y en la medida que se pueda acceder a atención al usuario de estas compañias y decirles porqué no compramos. Supongo que estaréis pensando que es utópico. Yo creo que no. Los departamentos de marketing de las grandes compañías son extraordinariamente sensibles a estos temas porque un error y sus cuotas de mercado se desploman. Todavía me acuerdo cuando mi padre , que es un manitas por cierto, me arreglaba cualquier cosa que me cargaba de pequeño. Era una cadena lógica de acontecimientos, me lo cargo-llamo a papi-me lo arregla. Había varias altenativas a) papi no está, consecuencia me lo tengo que arreglar yo. b)no lo arreglo, me quedo sin él.  Y es en esta segunda alternativa donde hemos perdido la capacidad de valorar lo que tenemos. La propia cadena de producción- comercialización ha sido diseñada para que una mano de obra esclavizada en el tercer mundo genere una producción a precios tan baratos que no nos compense arreglar las cosas. Conocéis alguna tienda que arregle radios??? Yo no.
Os invito a revelaros, especialmente si tenéis hijos. Si no son cuidadosos con las cosas las perderán. Sin que vayan a ser sustituidas inmediatamente por algo nuevo.

I still remember when my father, who is a handyman by the way,  fixes anything that I broke when I was a child. It was a logical chain of events, I broke it-call me daddy-he fixes it. There were several altgernatives to this a) dad is not, therefore  I have to fix it. b) do not fix it, I lose it. Quizás haga falta razones más claramente relacionadas con los negocios las que puedan mover conciencias y consciencias. Otra iniciativa, diferente a las anteriores, pero con buenas dosis de valentía y compromiso con el medio ambiente. David de Rothschild  (http://www.theplastiki.com/)decide viajar en un catamarán soportado por botellas de plástico para denunciar la cantidad de basura que echamos al mar. Tanta basura que nos sorprenderían los datos que se manejan al respecto. Así mismo supone una reflexión profunda que debemos hacer sobré cuál es nuestra relación diaria con los materiales reciclables. Entiendo que a estas alturas de siglo todos separamos nuestra basura. Pero más allá, tenemos que pensar si utilizamos material de "usar y tirar" como bolsas de plástico, botellas etc, o ya hemos dado el paso de no hacerlo. Es mucho más importante de lo que pensamos, y ya tenemos muchísima información sobre el impacto. De nuevo , no vale decir "yo no puedo cambiar el mundo", David de Rothschild lo intenta y nosotros lo tenemos que hacer en nuestras costumbres diarias.

It also involves deep reflection on what we do is our daily relationship with recyclable materials. I understand that at this stage of the century we all separate our trash . But beyond that, we have to think if we use material as "throwaway" things such as plastic bags, bottles etc, or have already taken the step not to do so. It is more important than we think, and we have lots of information about the impact. Alvaro Neil lleva más de 84.000 kilómetros en bici alrededor del mundo. Su idea es llevar sonrisas, sin más. Supongo que es una apuesta arriesgada. No es nuevo, pero me deja muy tocado. Hace tiempo que en casa intentamos comprar la comida más natural que podemos. Pero eso supone más tiempo y mucho más dinero. Ya no compramos pollo low cost ni filetes oferta etc etc... es bastante difícil, compramos vegetales en caserío, lo cual sólo garantiza que las verduras han visto el sol. Los pesticidas etc no son fáciles de evitar. En cualquier caso, y en la medida que podamos vamos a desechar las etiquetas complicadas (con tantos E645,E788 etc). Este video no es especialmente nuevo, pero tiene su gracia. Es simple, pero aporta una idea de la cadena de producción de las cosas. Desde la obtención de la materia prima hasta el consumo final y desecho de la basura. La historia es que reflexionemos sobre cuál es nuestra posición dentro de la cadena. Ahh! no vale decir "yo no puedo hacer nada" porque sí se puede. Porqué comprar otra chamarra cuando tienes cuatro en el armario. Porqué otra radio si la que tienes funciona perfectamente.
Por otro lado, mirás las etiquetas de los productos que compras?. Haz el esfuerzo y deja de comprar alimentos químicos...Es posible que no lo puedas hacer totalmente, pero sí en gran parte. Con esto no sólo estás diciendo a los productores que tienen que generar productos sanos , sino que si no lo hacen tú no les comprarás.
No sé pero me da la sensación de que cada post que hacemos en Comparta, siempre acaba con un "sí puedes"

On the other hand,do you look at the labels on the products you buy?. Make an effort to stop buying food full of chemicals ... it´s dificult to do it completely, but largely. This way you´re not only sending a message to producers saying they have to produce healthy products, but saying that if they don´t do so, you will not buy their products..
I do not know but I have the feeling that every post we do on Comparte, always ends with a "yes you can"

Eduard Punset nos comenta la posibilidad  y sobretodo la necesidad para cambiar nuestra forma de vida y nuestro nuestro impacto sobre la naturaleza. Así como la responsabilidad individual de aportar para el cambio. Un cambio que está en marcha como asegura Mr. Goleman y que tanto a nivel personal como sobretodo empresarial va a ser imparable.
Me gustaría que veamos este video y nos cuestionemos qué estamos haciendo de manera individual para mejorar nuestras condiciones de vida y para proteger el planeta. Si no estamos haciendo mucho, cuestionarnos la posibilidad de hacerlo ya que, como nos comentan en el vídeo nuestro cerebro está en constante cambio así que vamos a abandonar ya eso de "yo soy así" o "ya soy muy mayor para cambiar".... No más excusas.

I would like to see this video and to question what we are doing individually to improve our living conditions and protect the planet. If we are not doing much, the possibility to do so because, as we discussed in the video our brain is constantly changing so we're going to leave sayins as "I am this way" or "I'm too old to change" .. .. No more excuses.

Hablar de Victor Frankl es imprescindible. Después de leer  el hombre en busca de sentido te empiezas a cuestionar eso de las cosas importantes. A través de una experiencia en un campo de concentración en su juventud, desarrolla la teoría de que los que se salvaron en el campo, mejor dicho, los que salieron del campo sin ser asesinados y tuvieron la fuerza para salir adelante, eran las personas que tenían un sentido en su vida. En esta entrevista lo deja muy claro. Repito ,es simplemente imprescindible.

Talking about Victor Frankl is essential. After reading Man's Search for Meaning you begin to question the important things. Through experience in a concentration camp in his youth, developed the theory that those who were saved in the field, rather, those who left the field without being killed and had the strength to move forward,  were those who had a sense in their lifes. In this interview it is exposed very clearly. Again, it is simply indispensable.

En estos momentos no , pero en unos días vamos a disfrutar muchísimo. Ahora no es el momento, cuando me jubile voy a llevar a cabo los proyectos que me hacen ilusión.....
Todavía estamos así??? A mi me pasa, siempre con la idea de que seguro que vamos a hacer cosas fantásticas más adelante. Yo creo firmemente en crecer en el presente, en disfrutar creando ,siendo activo y consciente de lo bueno que tenemos alrededor. y COMPARTIENDO! Empieza ahora!!

Not at the moment , but within some days we will enjoy a lot. Now is not the time, when I retire I will carry out the projects that make me dream .....

Estamos viendo en OSATU, dentro del desastre social en el que se mueven determinados sectores, un nicho de desprotección muy importante. La mujer embarazada o de reciente maternidad y sin recursos. La figura del hombre se esfuma y la mujer queda abandonada a su suerte, normalmente sin papeles y en un país que no es el suyo. Aquí hay una oportunidad para compartir.

At OSATU we're seeing within the social disaster among certain social sectors, a very important group of people unprotected. A pregnant woman or new motherhood and without resources. En nuestras facultades de economía nos enseñan el axioma del crecimiento empresarial. Cualquier empresa tiene que crecer. Las presentaciones de resultados de las grandes compañías se expresan entre otros términos utilizando la TAM Tasa anual de Crecimiento (en relación con el ejercicio anterior). Cobra muchísima importancia muy por encima de planteamientos ecológicos, de satisfacción de la fuerza laboral, o de implicación social. Pero más allá de estas consideraciones, poca gente se cuestiona, porqué hay que crecer, porque no producir lo mismo que el año anterior y obtener una rentabilidad suficiente para compensar el riesgo asumido por el empresario.
Serge Latouche , profesor de la universidad de París, ha desarrollado la teoría del Decrecimiento donde cuestiona este ansia importada del modelo anglosajón además de relacionarlo con el agotamiento de los recursos.

In our schools of economics teach us the axiom of business growth. Any company has to grow. The presentation of results of large companies are expressed ,among other terms, using the TAM Annual Rate of Growth (relative to the previous year). It gets more importance far beyond ecological approaches, satisfaction of the labour force, or social involvement. But beyond these considerations, few people question, why must grow, why not to produce the same as the previous year and obtain a enough return  to offset the risk taken by the entrepreneur.
Serge Latouche, professor at the University of Paris, has developed the theory of decrease that questions this anxious to grotwh imported from Anglo-Saxon model , relating it with the depletion of resources.
I would not miss it.
